Malkasian Accountancy is an independent, community-based business founded on our family’s strong commitment to the Sacramento region.

Our father, Sark “Bill” Malkasian was our inspiration. He was the patriarch not only to our family but to the thousands of students he mentored as the principal of Grant Union High School (1972-1983), where he championed the school’s transformation into an academic and athletic powerhouse in the region.

He was a soldier, a professional athlete, a coach, a teacher and an iconic leader in Sacramento’s Del Paso Heights neighborhood, where he was known as “the Mayor of the Heights.” Our father instilled in us the values with which we founded Malkasian Accountancy – service, community, compassion and a passion for excellence.

We’ve been in business nearly 50 years and continue to build on his legacy today. Every return we prepare, every tax problem we solve, and every business we advise reflects our commitment to our work, our community, and the clients we serve.
